Teens will design and construct their own handbuilding project using clay. Come with some sketches, photos, images of something that inspires you as a starting point. Your piece can be sculptural, functional, non functional or a combination!
We will explore surface decorating options of underglazing, sgraffito, embossing, and texture for your 3D form. We will explore other ceramicists work to broaden your awareness of this mediums possibilities.
Your piece will stay at the studio to dry and fire. You will collect your glazed finished work when contacted within 3 weeks.

Workshops offered change medium each term Holidays. Students will explore EITHER drawing, painting, felt making, OR ceramics
Each term features a guest talk led by a reputable professional artist.
Full day bespoke workshop 10am - 3pm
Fee includes ALL materials, any mounting of 2D works, and 2 x firings of any clay work
Students take home a bespoke course bound booklet
Any ceramics will be left to dry & be twice fired for you to collect 2 - 3 weeks later

Small class groups for individual attention
