Children's Holiday Workshops — This Artful Life

It's hard for me to put into words what an impact Katrina has had on my 9 year old son. She's taught him for the last year and despite him not having any prior experience or interest in art we have watched him thrieve, develop a personal style and bring home some amazing art work. These classes are the highlight of his week and Katrina's knowledge and passion for what she does is unmatched!

From drawing, sewing, beading, fleting, clay and painting, my son has been able to experience so many different mediums and techniques. He is also able to build on his life skills including being responsible for managing his materials, cleaning his spaces and working on his fine motor abilities. He has also been supported in how to emotionally manage when things don't go right which is so important. "Turn that scar into a star" will continue to be our motto at home. We can't thank you enough
