During Terms 1 & 2 students contributed to making two wet-felt blankets, with the making process and final blankets shown in the gallery above. Blanket 1 followed an indigenous theme titled ‘Who I Am’, and Blanket 2 followed an ‘artful garden’ theme. These blankets can be framed or unframed wall hangings, or used as blankets for warmth on a bed. Blankets are auctioned / sold unframed.
Each blanket will be auctioned, with the proceeds going to indigenous education (as voted by the students) – the Cathy Freeman Foundation – https://www.cathyfreemanfoundation.org.au/
To place a bid on either blanket, click on the ‘bid now’ button, to send me an email with your bid amount.
